Air Philosophy

Calculating, evasive, and mobile.  By controlling distance and tempo and hiding attacks in movements Air avoids, confuses, and goes around the problem.

 

Air is a Subtle and Assertive ingredient.

Direct, quick, and aggressive.  By taking initiative, advancing, and pressuring Fire prevents, exhausts, and overwhelms the problem.

Fire is a Fierce and Assertive ingredient.

Imaginative, unpredictable, and creative.  By using awareness, intent, and deception Void understands, solves, and releases the problem.

Void creates unique recipes using any / all ingredients.

Core Class

 

The Core Class is the most fundamental class of all of HNK.  Covering Internal Arts (or emotional and energetic self expressions), warm-ups, and all of the techniques, principles, and tactics to get you fully prepared for your martial arts journey.

​

Essential drills train reflexes and situational awareness, and the main lessons hone your skills and teach why everything belongs in the martial arts.

Warrior Path Advanced Classes

 

Each martial artist fights in their own way.  It's not enough to tech a student effective techniques, they have to learn a style that best reflects their life experiences.

​

The Advanced Class hosts 6 Warrior Paths based on combinations of two elements and specific modes of combat.  Each Warrior Path has lessons unique to their main goals, and have drills that allow different Warrior Path styles to train against each other.

 

These Warrior Paths reflect other martial arts styles, which gives you exposure to training against different types of fighters.

Rooted, firm, and unwavering.  By holding its ground, debilitating movements, and using crushing force Earth punishes, restricts, and endures the problem.

Fluid, patient, and responsive.  By manipulating balance, motion, and energy Water pacifies, redirects, and dissolves the problem.
